Meet Dr. Dory Sellers

Dr. Dory Sellers is a graduate of Christian Brothers University and the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry where she earned her doctor of dental surgery (D.D.S.) degree. She serves on the Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital Foundation Associate Board and on the Christian Mobile Dental Clinic as part of the Bellevue Loves Memphis Program. Through this program she is involved with addressing dental health care needs to target populations in the greater Memphis area.

In her free time, Dr. Sellers enjoys running and is a member of the Memphis Runners Track Club.  She is a self-proclaimed lover of athletics, and is an official corporate sponsor of the Memphis Tigers. She is also a member of the Greater Memphis Chamber. Dr Sellers recently received the Favorite Award from the Commercial Appeal as a 2014 “Memphis Most” favorite in the category of Best Dentist.

Dr. Daniel Bird

Dr. Daniel Bird grew up in Paragould, Arkansas and is a graduate of the University of Arkansas. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University Of Tennessee College Of Dentistry here in Memphis, TN. For over a decade Daniel practiced in West Memphis, Arkansas before returning to practice in Memphis. His focus is on advanced dental techniques such as endodontics and implant dentistry. He enjoys using new cutting edge technology to enhance patient experience. He also owns and operates a mobile dental clinic, Marquis Mobile Dental services, that travels to nursing homes in multiple states throughout the southeast.

Daniel is happily married to his wife, Sammi. Between the two of them, they have 4 children; Porter, Connor, Embry, and Iris. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, aviation, and tennis. Now that he is practicing dentistry in Memphis, he looks forward to becoming active in the Memphis community.

KaShaundra Atkinson

Our hygienist, KaShaundra “KK” Atkinson has been in the dental field for many years. She started out as a dental assistant in 2007 in her hometown of West Memphis, Arkansas. After working as an assistant for 5 years, she made the decision to pursue a career in dental hygiene. She attended Concord Career College in Memphis, Tennessee, and graduated with an associate’s degree in dental hygiene. Upon obtaining her license in January of 2012, KK moved to Nashville, Tennessee to work for a pediatric dental practice. After 3 years in Nashville, KK returned to Memphis and has been with us since her return. She is very passionate about her work and couldn’t be happier with her career choice.

In her free time, KK enjoys gardening, sewing, yoga, and is an Arkansas Razorbacks fan. She is happily married to her husband Cody, and has two boys, Caleb and Ty.
